Gold at the mathematical Olympiad for the children of Romania. The 6 juniors in the national math group returned with medals from the Balkan Olympics in Greece. 5 gold and one bronze. An impressive collection that placed our country first in the 18 nations participating in the competition.

Olympic juniors were greeted with fellow applause and tears in the eyes of their parents.
Parents were the most excited and the children relaxed.

The batch is only 12 years old. He competed alongside his older colleagues, he had to solve the same problems and get the bronze.

It is the first time that all Romanian students return home with medals from the Balkan Olympics for juniors under 15 and a half. Adolescents come from various schools in the country and, at least at this age, they dream of a career in mathematics.
